It will soothe and restore elasticity to dry skin, and is beneficial and suitable for all skin types. On hair, jojoba oil penetrates down to the scalp and hair shaft to loosen and dissolve any hardened sebum build-up around the hair follicles. It takes nearly 1200 trees to produce one pound of Jojoba nuts which only yield 50 percent oil. As a result of the high cost of production, many stores do not carry jojoba oil in its pure form, much less offer you with scenting options.
