Hesperides

The Hesperides is the ancient Greek's equivalent of paradise. As legend has it, a grove of golden fruit grew in its orchard which had the power to bestow on its eater immortality.

Inspired by this myth, The Body Perfumery blends here a veritable feast of the most fragrant fruits we've ever encountered. Everything from figs, dates, apples, lychee and quince, to oranges, lemons, currants and berries found their way into this fragrance. The result must be smelled to be believed!

TBP's Commentary:  

Hesperides is hands-down one of my favorite fragrances. It is sweet without being candy-like, and fruity without being overwhelming or artificial. At the same time, it's not a simple scent. It has a polished complexity that would make it right at home among, for example, Sephora's offerings. It is an absolute stunner as a shampoo, body spray or lotion.
