The Body Perfumery Refund, Exchange and Cancellation Policy

All goods sold by The Body Perfumery are custom made for each customer and therefore The Body Perfumery has a "no refund" policy. No returns or exchanges are accepted for hygienic reasons. Please take advantage of The Body Perfumery's samples program prior to purchase if you would like to test a scent. If in any doubt, customers should purchase the smallest size available prior to purchasing full sized bath and body products. Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of payment receipt, unless your order has already been packaged for shipment. Cancellations are subject to a restocking fee equal to 20% of the order total. Pre de Provence bar soaps and handmade bar soaps are exceptions to the paragraph above, and may be returned at the buyer's expense in their original resaleable new condition (with any sealed wrapping intact) for a full refund of the purchase price and any applicable taxes (excluding shipping) within 30 days of purchase. Undeliverable, Lost or Damaged Shipments The Body Perfumery takes the utmost care in packing your items. All packages shipping to an address within the United States are mailed with delivery confirmation numbers, which are provided to customers upon shipment. The Body Perfumery is not responsible for undeliverable, damaged or lost shipments because we have no control over packages once they leave our hands. Buyers are urged to purchase insurance on their packages and to double check their shipping addresses in the order form for any errors. Your order will be shipped to your Paypal confirmed shipping address unless you specify a different shipping address in your order (e.g. to a gift recipient's address). Please note that if you specify a shipping address different from your Paypal confirmed shipping address, Paypal's buyer protection policy will not cover your purchase. We encourage that you purchase postal insurance for your order. Limitations of Liability The Body Perfumery expressly disclaims all liability for any personal injury or damages resulting from the misuse of, or allergic reactions to, any of our products. Misuse includes the use of our products past the recommended usage dates posted on our Frequently Asked Questions page, the failure to follow each product's directions for use and the introduction of additional substances or foreign material into our products. It is the responsibility of each user to review our ingredients listings to determine any potential allergic reaction. If you received one of our products through a swap or other third-party sources, you use such product solely at your own risk, as there is no guarantee that such product is still within its usage dates and has not been tampered with or otherwise contaminated by the third-party. By placing an order with The Body Perfumery, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
